Study on Energy-Saving Renovation of Existing Heating Masonry-concrete Residential Buildings Hong Guo 1, a, Minfang Su 2,b , Xiaojun Jin 3,c 1.3.Department of Civil Engineering, North University of China, Taiyuan, Shanxi, 030051,China 2 The Institute of Shanxi Architectural Design and Research, Taiyuan, Shanxi, 030013,China aguohongh@yahoo.com, bguohongh2@163.com Keywords: masonry-concrete residential building; energy-saving renovation; building envelope; heat transfer coefficient.
Engineering cost, construction considerations and conditions of existing buildings are the major factors to determine which technology to choose.
Engineering practice shoes that thus waterproof membrane can extend the service life by 2 and above times and improve the durability of the roof structure.
It is a existing building with a new insulation roofing system, both energy-saving efficiency and engineering cost are high.

Corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete structures is one of the most expensive problems facing civil engineers in the world.
The tests carried out in the Institute of Building Engineering at Wroclaw University of Technology, although quite extensive, have not exhausted the full range of experiments to which the investigated composite should be subjected in order to have complete certainty that it can provide effective surface protection against corrosion for concrete.
