Study on Multi-objective Optimization Design Method for SRHSC Beams Shansuo Zhenga, Yi Hub, Qinglin Taoc, Zhiqiang Lid and Lei Lie School of Civil Engineering, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi’an, Shanxi, China azhengshansuo@263.net, bhuyi6570@163.com, ctql6551@163.com dzhiqiangli2023@163.com, eLiLei1004@163.com Keywords: SRHSC Beam; Multi-Objective Optimization Design; Linear Weighted Method; Complex Method; MATLAB Abstract.
Introduction The ideal engineering design which causes the birth and development of optimization design is to obtain the best economy and excellent performance.
The minimum of engineering cost and the maximum of diagonal shear bearing capacity of SRHSC beams are taken as optimization objectives.
The importance of engineering cost and shear bearing capacity in optimization is reflected by weighting factors.

Variable Parameters-based Damage Creep Model of Weak Rock Layer and its Engineering Application W.D.
Zhang d College of Pipeline and Civil Engineering, China University of Petroleum, Qingdao, Shandong 266580, People’s Republic of China awendongy@gmail.com, bchenjinping2001@sina.com, cupcsfeng@upc.edu.cn, dzhangym@upc.edu.cn Keywords: rock mechanics; creep model; long-term stability; numerical simulation Abstract.
Variable parameters-based damage creep model The initial elastic modulus of the engineering rock masses before any disturbance is taken as E0.
Engineering application Based on the back-analyzed damage creep parameters of the rock masses in the dam area, the improved damage creep model is applied to a slope project of dam foundation at a hydropower station. 3-D creep computation is performed for slope stability analysis for a long time after excavation.

Experimental Study on Flexural Behavior of Ductile High Performance Concrete Hongzhe Suna, Mingke Dengb and Xingwen Liangc School of Civil Engineering, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi'an of China, 710055 asunhongzhe@xauat.edu.cn, bdengmingke@126.com, cliangxingwen2000@yahoo.com.cn Keywords: Engineered cementitious composite; Ductile high-performance concrete; Flexural behavior; Orthogonal test Abstract.
Introduction High performance concrete has the advantages of high strength, high durability, high fluidity and high impermeability, which has been widely used in the contemporary civil engineering structures.
The engineered fiber reinforced cementitious composites, ECC in short, is a kind of high toughness ductile concrete, which possesses the great capability of absorbing energy and can remarkably improve the anti-seismic performance and crack resistance performance.
There are a few experimental studies on the mechanical property index of ECC material, which limits the application of this new kind of material on structure engineering.

This change was made not taking into account the real seismicity characteristics of Vrancea region and was based on a low knowledge concerning seismic engineering, in general.
Alexandru cel Bun neighborhood, together with the small value of the design PGA, compel engineers to study closely these structures’ behavior under various important seismic actions.
