It has significant technical and economic benefits that can achieve a variety of cold and hot process and a variety of composite materials for selection, and combine organically materials and technology, so it is a breakthrough in mechanical manufacturing technology.

The oilless lubrication between cylinders and the piston component is achieved by using non-metal self-lubricating materials to make piston rings and guiding rings.
The variety and formula of the self-lubricating materials play a main role in the property and use life to piston rings and guiding rings.
It is thus obvious that the use lives of piston rings have a great relationship to pv value when the materials are fixed, so the pv value is the important parameter for piston ring design.
However, work temperature which piston rings and guiding rings made by non-metal self-lubricating materials can bear is more lower that metal rings.
