In contrast, although thixocasting is costlier than rheocasting, thixocasting can produce the components with excellent functional and mechanical properties.
The Fe-containing phase in thixocasting sample is smaller than that of rheocasting sample, which can affect the mechanical properties, as shown in Fig. 5.
Fig. 5 shows mechanical properties of thixocasting of Al-7Si-0.6Mg alloy after T5.

Large variety of factors, often with random nature, affecting the output parameters of the modeling object do not allow the deterministic approach’s use for its behavior analysis [4].
Taking into account the whole variety of known probabilistic laws, the effect of exponential growth of the probability of an event occurring with an increase in quantitative parameters affecting it comes first.
A typical example of this provision validity is the exponential dependence of the probability of a dangerous defect exist in the analyzed volume of a structural material on its value - the so-called scale factor (SF) of strength [1, 4].

The bulk chemical composition, nucleant added, final phase assemblage and microstructure are the most important factors affecting their technical properties.
Mica glass-ceramics are widely used as mechanical, electrical and biomedical materials due to their unique machinability and good electrical properties.
Therefore, improving their mechanical properties has been attracted much interests [5-7].

The main advantage of workpieces produced by ring rolling, compared to other technological processes, is given by the size and orientation of grains, especially on the worked surface which give to the final product excellent mechanical properties.
The software, due to self centring properties, allows to simulate the process without the Guide rolls.
All the tools were simulated as rigid bodies and between the rolls and the workpiece a shear friction factor equal to 0.7 was set.
Therefore the different axial roll speed laws do not significantly affect the ring geometry produced.
The maximum Idle load seems to be not affected by the different Axial roll speed laws.

Surface Morphology is now recognized as one of the key factor in advanced machining technology for functional behaviour of a part [1].
Wojciechowski et al. [4] presented analysis of various factors affecting machined surface texture.
The workpiece material is austenitic stainless steel because this stainless steel is widely used for many industrial applications due to its unique properties and cost.
The austenitic stainless steels is a combination of good mechanical properties and superior qualities regarding resistance to corrosion combined with very good spring properties and high fatigue strength.
The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cutting speed as a key process factor in controlling surface quality.

Layered ceramics are foreseen as possible substitutes for monolithic ceramics due to their attractive mechanical properties in terms of strength reliability and toughness.
Physical properties have been determined elsewhere [51, 52].
One of the main applications for these materials is that related to surface properties; for this reason the response to contact loading is especially important to characterise their mechanical properties and to assist in the design of advanced ceramic composites.

It has harmful influences on the properties of Ni-base superalloy, even if there is a trace amount of nitrogen in it.
Usually, the higher the nitrogen content, the more the microporosity and inclusions that made the mechanical properties of the Ni-base superalloys decreased.
The nitride inclusion remarkably affects the mechanical behavior of Ni-base superalloy.
The process of movement of nitrogen in liquid was the main controlling factor.

High strength, low thermal conductivity, high ductility and a tendency to high firming austenitic stainless steels are the main factors that make their machinability difficult.
As a result of deformation heating and heat, which always accompanies the process of cutting, are the tensions in this layer and change its physical and mechanical properties.
Fixture for the cutting tool: high precision hydraulic clamping head, the workpiece fixture: mechanical vise.
Increased demands on the quality of holes calls for considering a series of factors, for example: the machine for the cutting process must be in good condition.
Based on the results from our experiments and practical experience, in conclusion we can state that the following belong among the primary factors having an impact on increasing productivity: · machine operator - worker, · machine tool level, · cutting tool and its anchoring, · work piece, material properties and anchoring method, · economic costs on operation, · economic costs - input costs.

For binary alloys, the mechanical and processing properties of iron aluminides depend on aluminium amount significantly.
The properties of alloys (mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, magnetic properties, etc.) are influenced by the presence of phases significantly.
Compared with the as-cast alloys, the enhancement of mechanical properties at room temperature was described after heat treatment.
On the other hand, coarse particles on the grain boundaries in connection with narrow precipitates-free band (formed due to the transition of alloying elements from matrix into coarse carbide particles) along these coarse carbides could affect mechanical properties negatively.
The fine dispersion of carbides precipitates inside the grain could also affect other mechanical properties of the alloy significantly.

The mechanical properties of the annealed sample are summarized in Table 1.
Table 1: Mechanical properties of a rolled Mg alloy sheet used in the present study.
It is needless to say that factors other than twinning and detwinning, such as slip activity and texture, should also affect in the deformation upon two-step loading.
Moreover, not only detwinning but also other factors including the initial anisotropy and texture should affect the r-values after the second loading.
