With the fast changing global needs related to the preservation of the environment and sustainable environment, the using of the construction waste in structural elements is wildly interested to the engineers.
Concrete filled steel tube (CFT) columns employs the conventional materials steel and concrete as essential construction materials have been wildly used in structural engineering, which were related to their high strength, large energy absorption and seismic resistance [6-9].
The RCA was prepared by crushing the waste concrete specimens in the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Sichuan University with jaw crusher.
All the specimens were loaded by the universal compression-testing machine in the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Sichuan University with the maximum load of 5000 kN.

A probe on urban agriculture-oriented ecological city Tong Zhou1, a, Tao Zhao2,b 1 College of civil engineering and architecture,Hebei University, Baoding, Hebei, 071000, China 2 College of civil engineering and architecture,Hebei University, Baoding, Hebei, 071000, China a tt2004@126.com, bzt2010ss@163.com Keywords: urban agriculture, ecological city, city features, sustainable development.
An overview of the theory of ecological city The interpretation of Ecological City.Eco city is a perfect and a harmonious ideal city for the human and the nature, which is set up in accordance with the principles of ecology of a social, economic, natural and harmonious development, It is a human habitation of material, energy, information utilization and eco virtuous cycle.[2] The former Soviet Union ecologists think that ecological city is the ideal city pattern, it is the application of the ecological engineering, the most advanced scientific and technological means, it can make the city ecological system repair, regulate and development fully, and the benign circulation of city ecosystem lets human and nature become a whole and benefits each other.
The construction of ecological city is a system engineering, integrating daily basic necessities of life and all social life into the concept of ecological culture,we need not only to pay attention to the environment, improve the living conditions, promote the transformation of city life philosophy and way of life, but also to pay attention to people's livelihood and the people’s will, improve the city residents' quality of life and happiness.
