Abstract.
Introduction Borate (B2O3) glasses are very interesting amorphous materials because of the occurrence of boron anomaly, and are incorporated into various glass systems as a flux material to attain materials of high technological application [1-2].
In addition, the optical properties of Bi2O3-B2O3 glasses containing rare earth ions have received much interest because their exhibit extremely large third-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities and are excellent host materials for rare-earth doping to get efficient fluorescence emissions because of their low phonon energies [7-9].

Most of the metallic materials have obvious yield point, and the tensile strength is equal to the compressive strength.
Material yield strength and initial elastic modulus are taken from the appropriate material test results.
