The flexibility and cool cutting characteristics of the abraslive water
jet(AWJ) make it an important tool for cutting applications of new materials such as composites and
sandwiched materials that are difficult to machine with traditional machining processes[4].
Normally, the lower the materials intensity, the bigger the brittleness ,the higher speed we will need.
So when cutting composite materials with AWJ, we should use low speed under small pressure.

According to initial form of materials, rapid prototyping system can be broadly classified three types: a) liquid-based, b) solid-based and c) powder-based [1].
Recently, fabrication of ceramic parts for medicine application by RP technology raises the demand enormously that drives researcher to work on this process for ceramic materials.
Materials preparation For investigate formability to fabricate a ceramic workpiece, some models of experimental specimens are designed on Pro/Engineer CAD system.
Structure material was silica powder with average grain size 10~16μm.
