Seismic Capacity Evaluation of Masonry Structures of Primary School Buildings Bo Caoa, Yu Baib, Wen Panc and Jianrong Yangd Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming 650051, P.R.China acbclh@126.com, bbaiyu_kust@yahoo.com.cn, cpanwen@vip.sina.com, dcarpenter_y@sina.com Key words: Primary and secondary school buildings, Masonry structure, Seismic capacity evaluation.
The safety engineering of school building in 2009 covered all primary and secondary schools including cities and rural areas in nationwide, public and private buildings, and education system and other departments.
The evaluation was carried out by the engineer according to the basis of standards [1,2,3,4] and other relevant regulations.
Based on the result of the detection, the structural security was evaluated on the application of civil building reliability standards .Then the grades (A, B, C, D four grades) were given; Through calculating the anti-seismic structure analysis based on building seismic accrediting standard, the antidetonation design specification [3,4] , the appraisal conclusion and suggestion of the buildings would be given out.

Study on the Correlation between Strength Parameters and Shear Wave Velocity of Pavement Subgrade Soil Guoyong Cheng1,a, Xuejuan Liu1,b and Rui Qiu1,b 1 Airport College, Civil Aviation University of China, Tianjin, 300300, China agy-cheng@126.com, bxuejuan1019@163.com Keywords: Pavement Subgrade, California Bearing Ratio, Resilient Modulus, Shear Wave Velocity, Analysis Model.
Introduction To ensure the safety of the airplane taking off and landing, the regular test and evaluation of airport pavement is required by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
At present, as a important parameter of foundation soil, shear wave velocity has been widely used in geotechnical engineering, for example ,the division of soil, liquefaction resistance evaluation of saturated sand, evaluation of bearing capacity of pile foundation and so on [7-8].
