Tel.: 0554-6633285 Keywords: composite material; ferromagnetic; specific heat; expansion coefficient; sublimation heat Abstract: Ferromagnetic base composite materials were applied widely in aircraft and space vehicles engineering.
And then the thermal physical parameters such as thermal expansion coefficient, engineering specific heat and sublimation heat were solved and calculated.
This investigation provides an important foundation for the further research on the heat resistance and thermodynamic performance of this material. 1 Introduction Magnetic materials play a significant role in the development process of biomedical engineering[1], industrial refrigeration [2] and other new technologies [3,4] .
Ferromagnetic material, a kind of hard, corrosion resistant, practical and durable material, has good elasticity and plasticity, and therefore it is widely used in present and future and irreplaceable industrial materials.

A Review of Aerogels and Their Application as a Multi-functional Building Material ZHUGE Yan1, a 1Faculty of Engineering and Surveying, University of Southern Queensland, Queensland, Australia aZhuge@usq.edu.au Keywords: aerogels, construction materials, nano materials, solid mechanics.
Aerogels have been in existence for many years; however, the engineering applications of aerogels have been limited due to their poor mechanical behaviour.
Silica aerogels are attractive materials with low-density and high porosity assemblies of silica nanoparticles and possess desirable physical properties, such as lowest thermal conductivity among all solid materials (less than 20mWm-1K-1) and high acoustic impedance [4, 5].
However, the engineering applications of aerogels have been limited due to their poor mechanical behaviour (fragility).
As a new type of cellular solids, although discovered many years ago, the engineering applications of aerogels have been limited due to their fragility and hydrophilicity [7].
