A 23 design of experiment (DOE) was used to deposit bond coat and top coat powders with three controlled factors of input current, powder feed rate and stand-off-distance.
Coating quality was determined by its porosity content and hardness properties [7, 8].
Major problems in plasma sprayed coatings were presence of open pores, closed pores and micro-cracks which reduced mechanical properties of coating such as elastic modulus, micro-hardness and bonding strength [18].
A gradient of hardness properties across the substrate signifies its relationship with coating mechanical properties.
Presence of open pores, closed pores and micro-cracks reduced coating hardness along with reduced mechanical properties of coating such as elastic modulus, micro-hardness and bonding strength [18].

Introduction
Texture structured ceramics have attracted increasing attentions because of their improved properties compared with random ceramics.
It is reported that the template particles in the range of 5-50μm have been successfully used to fabricate textured ceramics; and enhanced anisotropic properties of so-synthesized textured ceramics, mimic the properties of single crystals of the same composition, can be obtained[7].
SrBi4Ti4O15/BaBi4Ti4O15 graded ferroelectric thin films prepared by sol-gel technique was also reported and the annealing conditions affected its optical properties greatly[13].
As mentioned above, although some investigations on the preparation of BBT have been published, the factors affecting the preparation of BBT templates are not mentioned explicitly.
It was well known in single crystal growth that the morphology of crystal is determined by two factors: (a) the crystalline habit and (b) the driving force for grain growth[16].

Abstract.
Ceramic coatings obtained using the above technique possess a number of valuable properties and can be used.
Both intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors affect the formation and microstructure of micro-arc oxidation coatings.
However, few data at present are available concerning the nanoparticles, microstructure and mechanical properties of such coatings.
Effects of Nanoparticles on microstructure and properties of micro-arc oxidation coatings on 6063 aluminum alloy, Trans.Mater.

An advantage of these materials is that their structure and composition can be engineered to return properties required for specific applications and operations.
In this study, the mechanical and fracture properties of two grades of PCD have been determined at dynamic loading rates up to 5 m/s and elevated temperature up to 600°C in laboratory conditions using three point bending (TPB) and split-Hopkinson pressure bar apparatus (SHPB).
Having said that, the main aim for the manufacturers of the drilling bits is to understand the fracture process of these materials and try to improve their fracture properties.
Materials and Methods In this study, high temperature testing chambers, a laboratory scale three point bend test rig and a split-Hopkinson pressure bar apparatus have been designed and used for testing the fracture and mechanical properties of two different grades of PCD: G6 grade constituted of 6μm average grain size and G30 grade constituted of 30μm average grain size.
The stress intensity factor acting at the crack tip may be reduced due to these thermal stresses, thus causing microcracks and fracture to occur at lower load levels.

The factorial portion of CCD is a full factorial design with all combinations of the factors at two levels (high, +1 and low, -1) and composed of the eight star points, and six central points (coded level 0) which is the midpoint between the high and low levels.
In the present study, the processing parameters affecting the magnetic abrasive material loss rate (MALR) and surface roughness (Ra) such as abrasive size (), spindle speed (), tool and workpiece gap () and feed speed () were considered for experimentation and analysis.
Table 2 shows the identified factors and their levels which the experimental matrix that was adopted in this study in both coded and actual factors.
This means that regression model provides an excellent explanation of the relationship between the factors and the response of magnetic abrasive loss rate.

Then, from the aspects of technology properties and technical performance, profound comparison is made between copper-clad steel and traditional conductors.
Last but not least, in order to analyze objectively, the paper based on a real 500kV substation to discuss from the point of economic properties.
This paper mainly focus on three aspects respectively: technology properties, technical performance, economic properties etc to make a profound comparison between copper-clad steel and traditional grounding conductors.
When the conductor temperature exceeds a certain value, then natural cooling in the soil, the mechanical properties of conductor will dramatically decline.
(3) Seen from economic properties, galvanized steel has lowest price for one time cost, but its subsequent investment is enormous.

Furthermore it affects the exchange rate.
Therefore the fluctuations of oil prices should be the monetary factor.
(F-statistic) 0.000 Simulation results are given to illustrate the excellent performance of the statistical properties.
Fig.3 Statistical properties of the fitting equation Although regression results in Table 1 confirm the close relationship between the Brent oil price and the U.S. dollar liquidity, the exchange rate, do not yet confirm that they can decide Brent prices.
Its fluctuation will affect the dollar exchange rate and the liquidity of the global market, thereby affecting the global economy, including china’s economy.

The sequence is important as different materials have different properties.
However, the properties of the kaolin based geopolymer brick is still need to be considered in term of compressive strength, its resistance to the environment and so on before can be used as construction material.

Unidirectional reinforces carbon fiber materials are more effective if refer to specific properties per unit volume compared to conventional isotropic materials.
So it is more important to understand short fiber reinforced composites mechanical properties, which depend strongly on the interfacial bonding between fiber and matrix.
Variables such as the volume fraction, aspect ratio, tensile strength, orientation of the short carbon fiber as well as the interfacial strength are of primary importance to determine the mechanical properties and tribological behaviour of these composites [3,4,5,6,7].
A point of interest in composites is their ability to transfer stresses across the interface, properties that is related to a complex combination of factors such as surface energy of the reinforcing phase, adhesion strength, number of stratified layers, fiber orientation with respect to the external action.
Influence of fiber volume fraction on the mechanical and thermal properties of unidirectionally aligned short-fiber -reinforced SiC composites.
