Abstract.
These high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites (HPFRCC) can significantly contribute to enhancing the service life of civil infrastructure, especially on the field of seismic resistance, impact resistance and fatigue resistance.
This value can fulfill engineering requirement in high strength.

It is defined at the first time in “The provisional rule of fire safety for external heat preservation system and external decoration of civil buildings” which was issued in 2009 that the combustibility of heat-insulating materials are expected to be degree A [3] (non-combustible component), when they are used in the residential building of 100 meters height or the public building of 50 meters height.
Silicate heat insulating materials are light homogenous materials, the light granules gotten by simply sorting and mechanical disintegration could be directly used in road building, green plant, foundation engineering, ground cushion, soil improvement, etc; another processing method is to produce light concrete or light building blocks by mixing with cementing materials.
Their thermal characteristics is very close to organic heat insulating board, the thickness of heat insulating layer can meet the requirement of engineering; meanwhile, they are superior to organic materials in many aspects, such as fire resistance, durability, consumption of resources.
