The relationship between spraying parameters, in-flight particle characteristics and mechanical properties is discussed.
Experimental Stellite 6 was sprayed by HVOF at 9 conditions, while the fuel/oxygen ratio ER (affecting the flame temperature) and the combustion pressure p (affecting the flame velocity) were varied on 3 levels each.
Mechanical properties.
In general, mechanical properties of thermal spray coatings depend on the properties of the constituent material and on the ‘quality’ of interparticle bonding.
These had direct effect on coating stresses and mechanical properties.

Effect of Deformation Route on the Mechanical Properties of CP-Ti Deformed by Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) S.H.
Korea a jkpark@webmail.kaist.ac.kr Keywords: Equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP), Deformation route, Texture, Mechanical Properties, CP-titanium Abstract.
The variation of deformation route in ECAP can alter the deformation patterns of the materials during shearing and thus can significantly affect the mechanical properties of the materials.

This paper focuses on the effect of different fiber content on the mechanical properties of specimens with and without weld lines.
The mechanical properties of these composites were determined by quasi-static (standard tensile testing) and dynamic (Charpy impact test) testing methods and the corresponding weld line factors were calculated.
From the results of the tensile and Charpy-impact tests, it was ascertained that the temperatures and the holding pressures during injection molding did not affect the tensile and impact properties, but fiber length had a major impact on the mechanical properties of this specific composite.
Further experiments were carried out wherever the mechanical properties of the produced specimens were investigated.
However the fiber content decreased both mechanical properties except the tensile strength of the weld line free specimens.

The mechanical properties of the composite are greatly affected by the curing of the polymer affects, and the curing of the polymer mainly depends on the control of the processing temperature and speed [1].
Primary range determination of the pultrusion processing parameters Influencing factors of polymer curing during pultrusion.
Pultrusion processing parameter optimization basing on the product mechanical properties The ranges of pultrusion processing temperatures and pultrusion processing speed were further optimized basing on the characterization of product mechanical properties.
The combination of processing parameters that corresponding to the best mechanical properties of product would be the most ideal.
It is confirmed by the production practice and the mechanical test results that this method can satisfy the need of hybrid fiber composite pultrusion production, and can lead to better mechanical properties.

A study was carried out to evaluate how the Friction Stir Spot Welding (FSSW) process parameters affect the temperature distribution in the welding region, the welding forces and the mechanical properties of the joints.
Aim of these experiments was to evaluate how the welding process parameters affect the thermal distribution in the welding region, the welding forces and the mechanical properties of the joints.
The mechanical properties of the joints were evaluated by means of shear tests.
A general good repeatability was found in all cases and all the considered factors (S, F and Z) have an influence on the mechanical properties of the joints in terms of shear resistance.

Table 2 Mechanical properties of main aluminum alloy sheets for automotive panel.
There are many factors affecting the spring-back.
Thus the mechanical properties would not change and the alloy had good aging resistance stability.
All these factors jointly caused the apparent improvement of the bake hardening effects.
