This research is to investigate the properties of compressed building bricks producedfrom Cameron Highlands reservoir sediment.
This study is also to identify the mechanical properties and chemical properties of the compressed sediment brick.
Table 1 shows the material properties of the sediments.
Water absorption is one of the key factor affecting the durability of the bricks against the environment.
Thermal properties and durability will also be investigated.

Composite materials that have low weight and high strength properties are currently one of the promising materials for a vehicle’s body.
The major advantages of composite materials are high in specific strength and stiffness properties in combination with design flexibility.
This type of impact can cause reduction in the mechanical properties of the structure.
The material properties are shown in Table 1.
The factors that might be contributed to such results are; · The type of material that is used in the present work is MAT_022 while in the reference literature the material used is MAT_054/055.

The temperature rise can decrease the mechanical properties of rubber, intensify the tread wear and lead to scrapped in advance [3].
The range of per unit gives the ranges of different factors at the same range of variation.
Summary (1) An orthogonal test of three factors was carried in this paper.

While these factors not only depend on machining parameters but in the same degree on the material to be cut and vibrations occurring in the process a complete evaluation of the single factors and their interrelations was done.
Key Engineering Materials Vols. 241 Stone Material Properties.
Material properties are the main influencing factor on machinability beside machining parameters [2].
It is common to use either the mechanical properties, strength and hardness, or the mineral composition as value to characterise the machining patterns of the rock material [8].
For this reason investigations were carried out to characterise grain size and mineral composition of the materials and to evaluate the mechanical properties and machinability of the rock.

Introduction PMSM has been widely used in industry, national defense and other fields for the characteristics of simple structure, high power density, high power factor and the high reliability.
Material Properties of PM For inherent characteristics, permanent magnet materials can create a magnetic field in the surrounding space without the external energy after the pre-magnetization (charge magnetism).
Knee Point Calculation Thermal stability refers to the change degree of PM magnetic properties caused by the change of environmental temperature.
The quality of thermal stability directly affects permanent magnet demagnetization.

Design values from STN EN ISO 6946 [7] are used for declaration of thermal properties of building structures particularly in terms of winter season.
Other shading correction factors are considered equally for all alternatives FC = 1 a Ff = 0.8.
We see that with increasing thermal insulation properties of walls, roofs, floors and windows increases the energy need for cooling.
Energy need for heating with increased thermal insulation properties but decreases significantly (Table 7).

Mechanical properties of products were found suitable for rapid tooling, especially for plastic/powder injection moulding application [1].
Reliability of measured data depends on optical properties of surface and its slope [3, 4].
Z = ao + a1x1 + a2x2 + a3x3.Where Z is the response or output, xi are the factors or variables.
To realise the relation between the response and the input factors, the constant coefficients need to be determined.
This also helps in developing processing strategies for minimizing structural defects and also towards maximizing surface properties of manufactured parts.

Simultaneously the powerful functions were used to fit the relationships between shear strength indexes and the three influencing factors respectively.
Soil properties are one of the main control factors of slope stability and decide on failure mechanism and sliding form .
Due to that soil properties differ in thousands ways to different slopes in different areas, safety evaluation and study of the post-earthquake high slopes in Sichuan Province should pay close attention to the post-earthquake soil properties.
Shear strength is one of the important mechanical properties of soil, which is affected by the influencing factors, e.g. grain mineral composition, shape and grading, original density, water content, pore water pressure and so on [7].
The control requirements on the three influencing factors in every pattern are listed in table 1.
