Introduction In engineering optimization, a direct coupling between analysis models and optimization routines may be very inefficient.
Giunta [6] utilized this method for the multidisciplinary design optimization of a High Speed Civil Transportation Aircraft.
In this paper, a nonlinear function and a practical engineering problem are optimized by proposed methodology.
The results show it is an effective method for nonlinear engineering problem in practice.

Introduction From the structure system of the multi-story high steel structure housing engineering that are have constructed and are having constructed at home and abroad[1-7], There are some types, as flowing: steel frame system; steel frame and supporting system; the steel frame and concrete ; mixed structure of the steel frame-tube the staggered-truss system; compared with the traditional concrete structure housing, the steel structure housing have more advantage, the mechanical performance and economic rationality is different for the steel structure different system and types[8-13], the pure steel frame structure and steel frame and supporting are widely applied in practical engineering, which more accords with the requirements of multi-story steel structure housing.
