Application and Design of the New Steel Fiber RPC Column-template without Demolition
Jun Wang1, a, Zhiwei Sun2,b
School of Civil Engineering, Northeast Forestry University, Hexing Road, Harbin 150040,P.R.
Based on the existing design specification of template, new design recommendation of template thickness is proposed through theoretical analysis and simulation, which provides a theoretical basis of steel fiber RPC column template without demolition in engineering applications.
This paragraph will illustrate the design process of the new column-template with the common size which is widely used in practical engineering.
However, the new column-template can be designed by the principle of short-pass load according to that the depth-width ratio is often more than 3 in practical engineering.
Based on calculation and analysis of the template thickness in practical engineering, recommended values of template thickness are presented with reference design values.

Because of the creative and novel design, reasonable economic cost, green ecology and the good effect of energy saving, the project obtained a second prize of architectural engineering design awarded by the Ministry of Education in 2011.
According to statistics, although the large public buildings only account for less than 5% of the total area of civil buildings, yet they account for a very high proportion of the total energy consumption of civil buildings.
