Mechanism Analysis and Experimental Study of Soil-compacting by Silent Piling Furong Li1,a, Houchao Sun1,b and Zhaoyu Wang1,c 1 College of Civil Engineering, Yancheng Institute of Technology, Yancheng, Jiangsu, 224051, China alifurong_yc@163.com, bsunhouchao1975@163.com, czywang@ycit.cn Keywords: Silent Piling, Soil-compacting Effect, Mechanism Analysis, Model Experiment.
The results shows that the greater the radial distance, the smaller of soil compaction effect, the influence scope of soil compaction effects on the displacement and pore water pressure reaches 0.6 times and 0.5 times the pile length sinking the single pile, which is accord to the actual engineering.
According to the model test similarity theory, the model pile geometry ratio (n) is 10, select the pile length of 1000 mm, 40 mm diameter Plexiglas rods to simulate actual engineering 10m pile length, 0.4m flat bottom of the pile diameter piles, pile Plexiglas stick surface roughening to increase the friction between the pile and soil, to simulate the actual contact between the concrete surface and the soil.

Autoclaved Fly ash-lime brick wall of the proposed shear strength formula Lin Pan1, a, Chun Han1,b 1Department of Civil Engineering, Xinxiang University, Xinxiang, 453000, China a xxpanlin@sina.com, b hanchun5085@126.com Keywords: Autoclaved fly ash-lime brick.
The method of the present paper may provide an important reference to engineering design as well as code revision.
The shear-friction formula is as intensity index to calculate section, its essence is the wall shear stress to average section of the shear strength will happen after the section, basic principle and the damage limit state consistent design In the actual building, the depth-width ratio of wall is less than 1 To crack the wall after the overall job can still work to give explanation the phenomenon, in a large number of domestic related tests and practical engineering in the earthquake damage this phenomenon are common With the international standard and shear-friction formula of the shear strength and similar expressions, such as CIB international standards, UK code.
In order to facilitate the actual engineering design and validation for application, it transforms the average of the expression formula suggestions into with the current masonry codes in the design value expression.
