It is evidenced that MNPs materials show a response to an applied magnetic field NiO (bulk) and is one of the Antiferromagnetic materials that have magnetic moments that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

Thus, functional gradient material (FGM) should be a feasible route to introduce Ln2Zr2O7 as oxygen insulation to ZrB2 based materials.
The XRD patterns of the ZrB2/SiC-Sm2Zr2O7 materials were shown in figure 3.
From the results it can be seen that no significant phase transformation was found in the materials.
Minute ZrSiO4 (31.8°) was detected in the materials with high ZrB2/SiC content, which caused by the solid solution of ZrO2 and SiO2 from the row materials.
