School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Wuhan University of Technology,Hubei Wuhan 430063,China, 2.Civil Engineering and Architecture College,Henan University of Technology Zhengzhou 450001,China, liuqixia65@163.com Key word-Railway canopy,Arched ripple, steel roof structure Abstract—The railway canopy and mechanical canopy in the granary are large span special structure industrial architecture, has the design standard uncertainty, influence factor multiplicity, construction craft complexity questions and so on in the design and the construction.
On the basis of obtaining the characteristics of granary railroad canopy , the roof, the column and the foundation design methods of this kind of structure are described, the deflects in the stability theory and instability reasons has been analyzed in this paper. Ⅱ Characteristics of granary railway canopy Taking a wide view of China's granary railway canopy, all have the following main characteristics: A Large-scale in capital construction The investment amount of grain construction engineering is usually tens of millions, among which, because of a large building area for the granary canopy, its engineering cost is 450 yuan per square meter. for example: Shanghai Waigaoqiao railway canopy has a span of 39m , a length of 312m, area of 11794 square meter, using the profiled steel sheet roof.
Most of horizontal thrust is usually balanced by installing the pull rod on the top of ring beam of brick wall in canopy engineering.
According to engineering design convention, when the use of independent foundation or strip foundation, the edge of the foundation is usually not allowed to detach form the foundation, which meets the equation e ≤ b / 6; when e> b / 6, anti-pull pile foundation will be considered. Ⅳ Defects in the stability theory of large-span structure Research results of stability on new large-span structure is less.
There is the following reasons in the analysis on the canopy instability: A The most unfavorable combination of loads is considered inadequately in the design Considering of snow load of 50 year frequency for granary in different area, the value of constant load is 0.3kN/m2, live load is 0.4kN/m2, basic wind pressure is 0.55 kN/m2, basic snow pressure is 0.4~0.7 kN/m2 in the design of general engineering.
