Despite that study of forecasting techniques in engineering geology has made a great headway, such as the emergence of TSP202 [3], HSP, geological radar, and infra-ray detector [4], 30 m advanced detecting bore and method of geological description as well as forecasting and revising methods for vertical section design, some serious and grave accidents still happened in the tunnel construction in recent years, bringing about tremendous disadvantages to the construction of civil engineering.
Geological engineer left the site after he had inspected the status of mud outburst on the working spot and watched the video record of the accident.
