Application in civil engineering field Electro-hydraulic servo technique was firstly applied in the field of Aeronautics in 1940s [4].
With the development of educational reform, electro-hydraulic servo technique has played a critical role in experimental technology of civil engineering structures.
With the rapid development of science and technology, how to make new theory, new method and new technology is the key and basic to college students, especially to college students who major in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and etc.
According to the actual situation of civil engineering, we purchased 4-channel electro-hydraulic servo system(Fig.1) in September in 2009.
It is a significant theoretical issue and urgent practical problem to apply modern experimental technology to experimental teaching of civil engineering.

In this paper, the structural passive control which has the broad application prospect in seismic shock resistant and the wind-resistant design of civil engineering is introduced. the principle and wide application of structure passive control technology including basal isolation, energy dissipation damping and shock absorption damping in civil engineering are expounded, and the development for passive control technology development is prospected.
The development for structure damping control technology is the product of seismic theory and practice developed to a certain stage, which is the subject intersection of civil engineering, earthquake engineering, materials science, computer technology and control technology etc.
TMD has been applied in lots of practical engineering design.
Prospect After long-term unremitting efforts of many scholars, especially in the last ten years, civil engineering structure control technology has overall and rapid development and presents a vibrant momentum of development.
