This article selects 45 steel and 2A11 aluminum alloy as test materials, chooses shot peening pressure, nozzle scanning velocity, target distance as effect factors, and searches the changing regularity of surface roughness which follows the shot peening process parameters.
Materials and Methods The shot peening specimen chose 45 steel and 2All aluminum alloy which have 25 mm diameter, 15mm height and 28 mm diameter, 15 height machined rods and bars by machine tool.

Machining hard to machine materials using conventional methods of machining have proved to be very costly as these materials greatly affect the tool life because of poor machinability.
To machine this hard material, suitable conventional tools materials viz., Uncoated Carbide Tool (CNMG120404) and Coated Carbide Tool (SNMG120408) are used.
