An Analytic Solution of Length-limited Thin-walled Cylindrical Shells under Non-axisymmetric Uniform Line Load and Concentrated Load Jianbo Zhao1, a, Xiangzhong Bai1, Xiuyong Si1 1Institute of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao, 066004, China ajbzhao@ysu.edu.cn Keywords: Thin-walled cylindrical shells, Uniform line load, Concentrated load, Rail guns, Analytic solution.
The results of this paper can be served as a reference for analytic solutions and engineering designs of non-axisymmetric cylindrical shells.
Introduction Simplified shell equations are often used when calculating engineering shells,so the theoretical analysis often has some limitations.
Thin-walled cylindrical shells under non-axisymmetric uniform line load and concentrated loads are common in engineering practice.
Because of the engineering needs, such as the strained condition of containments of rail guns (Figure 1) [2], the study of the issue will have a certain theoretical and practical value.

Introduction Many practice engineering presents that the rainfall is the important predisposition of landslide.
In the model, the uniformly distributed load q is considered, which is more accordant with actual engineering.

Minimal control synthesis algorithm can achieve excellent closed-loop performance in case of the system parameter variation, external disturbance, internal dynamics coupled and nonlinear system, so it has been widely used in mechanical and electrical engineering fields [1-2] , but the research of minimal control synthesis algorithm for vibration control of smart structures are few.
At present, only AJ Hillis [3] has made MCS algorithm apply to the automotive vibration control, and Qu Weilian [4] has made MCS algorithm apply to the vibration control field of civil engineering.
