The aim of this paper is to review the literature on Materials science to identify the current research and to provide direction for future research in thermal properties of the concrete block composite, either with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) or Polystyrene (PS), presenting the opportunity to make an important methodological contribution by applying systematic review in three areas of Materials science: Composites, Building Materials, as well as Testing and Evaluation of Materials.
They were reviewed, keywords were identified within a framework of composites, building materials, as well as testing and evaluation of materials, and a lexical analysis of the papers was conducted.
Table 1 shows the references in each Journal of the publications reviewed, where the 13 papers reviewed are from 10 different scientific journals, as follows: Waste Management (1), Proceedings of Institution of Civil Engineers: Construction Materials (2), Journal of Building Engineering (3), Energy and Buildings (4), Construction and Building Materials (5), European Polymer Journal (6), Case Studies in Construction Materials (7), Composites Part B: Engineering (8), Journal of Cleaner Production (9), and Composite Structures (10).

Unfortunatelly for the researcher, modern construction technology mostly deals with heterogeneous multi-phase materials – composites, with different matrix materials, fillers, aggregates and admixtures.
The particle system method has numerous applications in material science, and in particular – in construction industry.
It can be seen from that summary that many methods in material science uses stochastic approach on different computational stages.
Determination of the size and volumetric content of the nanoscale modifier is a necessary prerequisite for the application of nanotechnology in materials science.
