Synthesis, Photochromism Properties of a Novel Hybrid Diarylethene Based on Hydroxyl Group Duohua Jiang, Gang Liu*, Weijun Liu and Congbin Fan Jiangxi Key Lab of Organic Chemistry, Jiangxi Science & Technology Normal University, Nanchang 330013, China liugang0926@163.com Keywords: Photochromism; Diarylethene; Fluorecence; Optical storage.
The photochromic process of diarylethenes is based on a reversible transformation between th open-ring isomer with a hexatriene structure and the closed-ring isomer with a cyclohexadiene structure, according to the Woodward-Hoffmann rule [7].

As shown in Table 1, the first and third doublets with QS of 0.31 mm/s and 1.48 mm/s at 80K could be assigned to Fe 3+ ions occupying the octahedral (Oh) and tetrahedral (Td) sites in an MgFe2O4 spinel structure respectively, consistent with the results reported by others [3].
High-resolution TEM analysis revealed core-shell structures.
It has been reported that chlorine atoms can effectively inhibit the growth of carbon nanotubes, [4-5] and thus the encapsulation of Fe nanoparticles in the carbon shell could be attributed to the inhibiting effects of NaCl on the formation of tubular structures.

Inspection of the fracture surfaces of the polymer systems yielded some further information about their phase structures.
In the case of polymer systems with more than 20% bio-resin content, a heterogeneous structure was detected.
We think that the homopolymerization of unreacted bio-monomer is the reason for the appearance of these structures.

Femtosecond Laser-induced Precipitation and Manipulation of Noble Metal Nanoparticles in Silicate Glass Kazuyuki Hirao, Bin Hua, Masayuki Nishi, Yasuhiko Shimotuma and Kiyotaka Miura Department of Material Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto- University, Katsura A3-118, Kyoto 615-8510, Japan hirao@bisco1.kuic.kyoto-u.ac.jp, Keywords: glass, femtosecond laser, noble metal nanoparticles Abstract Femtosecond laser is a perfect laser source for materials processing when high accuracy and small structure size are required.
Various induced structures have been observed in glasses after the femtosecond laser irradiation.
When the glass sample is annealed at temperatures about 550 ºC, gold or sliver atoms get sufficient energy to overcome the interaction between the metal atoms and the glass network structure and start to move.

The graft yield of soybean protein on cotton fabrics, mechanical properties and congregating structure of soybean protein modified cotton fabrics were respectively investigated.
Measurements of structures and properties Instrumental analysis.
Thus it is deduced that the cellulose crystal structure of oxidized cotton fiber has not been changed after the soybean protein modification.
The analysis of structure manifested that the crystalliniy of the oxidized fabric after soybean protein graft decreased slightly.
