The resulting criteria weights are applied to the decision analysis where the fuzzy VIKOR approach is adopted which determines a compromise solution by using utility weight.
1 Introduction
Product conceptual design is perhaps the most crucial stage in an engineering product development cycle, as nearly 70-80% cost and quality of the product will be determined during the concept design phase.

Abstract.
It seems impossible to establish an accepted constitutive model, which may be chosen appropriately in accordance with the mechanical characteristics, stress range and accuracy requirement of the structural engineering or analysis object.
Nowadays those non-linear elastic constitutive models obtained by using a regression analysis of test results are used most frequently in engineering practice.
The test was conducted in the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Harbin Institute of Technology using 200-ton and 500-ton hydraulic testing machine, following the relevant provisions of Standard Testing Methods for Concrete Structures (GB50152-92).
Proceedings of Japan Society of Civil Engineers. 592/V-39, 1998(5): 37-52

Polyurethane is one of the most versatile polymers, with high mechanical properties, that is used in various fields of engineering and has been used for adhesives, foams and coatings.
The redirection of coating engineering towards green methodology is a promising aspect, in particular when the green coatings can deliver relevant enhancements comparable to those of the synthetic ones.

Attention of researchers has turned to materials such as vegetable fibers including bamboo, soil, mining, industrial and agricultural wastes for engineering applications.
Although with the accumulation of technical data concerning the developed materials and structural elements obtained from the research programs, they are not systematically used in large scale in civil construction.
Bamboo and composites reinforced with vegetable fibers In civil engineering the development and application of materials, with low cost and reduced energy consumption has turned into an actual basic requirement.
The energy necessary to produce 1m3 per unit of stress projected in practice for materials commonly used in civil construction has been compared with that of bamboo.
