However, there are great differences between physical and mechanical properties of composite sleeper that produced all over the world, which lead to the problem of searching rational parameters for composite sleeper.
The optimization problem for finding the optimum properties of the composite sleepers material is solved by the method of experimental statistical modeling (ESM-method) by carrying out a computational experiment on mathematical models of the properties (response functions) Y in RBSRR system from the variable factors X.
As variable factors X, the following indicators were adopted, related to the properties of the sleeper material: Х1 - bending coefficient of a sleeper, rel. units; Х2 - its mass, kg; Х3 - modulus of elasticity of a sleeper in a horizontal plane, MN/cm2; Х4 - the same in vertical, MN/cm2; Х5 - the same with respect to torsion of a rail, MN/rad; Х6 - rigidity of a fastener binding unit, MN/cm.
The levels of variation of factors X were determined on the basis of the operational experience of the railway tracks of Russia.
When minimizing the objective function (1), the weighting factors ai varied within the range of 0,05-0,20.

Wu [12] studied the deterioration characteristic of mechanical properties of concrete in the presence of stray current and chloride ion.
Results show that mechanical properties of concrete decrease more remarkable under the two factors coupling actions than single factor action, the deterioration degree depends on the voltage magnitude, chloride ion concentration and corrosive time.
According to the experimental results, he established the relationship between stray current and mechanical properties of concrete by regression analysis.
In recent years, many scholars have studied the effect of stray current and multi-factors coupling conditions on properties of concrete.

In this work, the microestrutural characterization and mechanical properties of atomized Al-9Si-3Cu alloy powders and extruded samples are presented.
The mechanical properties of extruded samples were also characterized by tensile test and hardness measurements.
Mechanical properties results for extruded samples with powders of different size ranges.
by reduction of intermetallic compounds, especially b-Al5Fe2Si phase that exhibit high hardness and low deformability when localized in the interfaces of the particles preventing the connection and bonding among the powder particles, affecting considerably the mechanical properties.
