Polyoxometalates (POMs) are currently attracting much attention as building blocks for functional composite materials because of their particularly interesting nanosized structure [6] and their potential applications in catalysis, conductivity, photo and electrochromic devices, and molecular electronics [7, 8].
The occurrence of photoluminescent activity confirms the potential for creating luminescent multilayer films with POM and their use as functional components may be achieved by adjusting the thickness, composition and structure of the multilayer films.

In our study, the hydrothermal temperature is varied from 110 to 170 °C to investigate its influence on the structure.

Abstract: The compact MFI membrane supported on a mesoporous-layer-modified macroporous Al2O3 substrate has been prepared by the secondary growth method.
Many studies reported that the physical structure and chemical property of the support have great influence on the growth of zeolite membranes .
In many cases, intermediate layer was coated on porous substrate as a buffer layer, which could improve the stability of membrane structure [1–3].
