In one such study conducted in a hot and humid climate in Singapore in 2001, Wong and Huang evaluated the thermal comfort and IAQ in naturally ventilated (NV) and air-conditioned (AC) bedrooms [7].Based from the study, it was observed that the CO2 levels of AC bedrooms were consistently higher than Naturally/Mechanically Ventilated (NMV) bedrooms and that the air temperature and relative humidity of NMV bedrooms were substantially higher than AC bedrooms.
