In addition, liquid crystal is analogous to the structure of the lipids of stratum corneum (the outermost skin cell layer of the epidermis) [2-3].
The polarized microscope utilized to verify the presence of liquid crystal and it showed that a maltese crosses pattern was observed (see inset of Figure 1) indicating a typical lamellar liquid crystalline structure.

The structure analysis of multi spin was investigated using FTIR.
SiO2-TiO2 system with 10% TiO2 in siloxane structure was found capable on building thick layer up to 2.4 µm at 17 time cycles spins and heat treatments at 680 oC.

To eliminate the effects of annealing time on the phase structure of samples, the vacuum annealing was also conducted for the same time with the hydrogen treatment at 700℃.
The crystal structure of alloy thin films and the variation after hydrogen treatment were obtained by XRD(Rigaku D/MAX-RB12KW).

The pictures we see in the Figure. 2(c) and (d) [5] are the metallographic structure morphology of the interface between matrix and coating.
There is a great distinction in the grain size of structure between heat affected zone and the heart of matrix in the picture (c).
While, there is no difference in grain size of structure from the surface to the heart of matrix in picture (d).
Literature shows that the wear resistance of coating has something to do with hardness of hard phase which is diffuse distribution on coating surface and hard phase structure density levels.

OGFC is an open-graded bituminous mixture, and its structure type is skeleton-void structure.

Both types of surface modification results in dense and stable surface layer of well organized structure.
The monolayer structure was visualized by Brewster angle microscopy.
At higher pH value (Figure 2) the effect of cations on the monolayer structure is more significant than at lower pH (Figure 1).
The results show some change in the monomolecular layer structure.
