DEM main application fields in earth science and related disciplines, such as remote sensing, civil engineering and military engineering, communications and geographic information system, etc., and can be used in road cad system.
The line optimization and the formation of longitudinal and transverse section Applying DEM to line engineering, mainly in order to get the line of terrain information on the longitudinal and transverse section, the design of the automatic or semi-automatic optimal routes. In linear engineering (roads, power lines and other projects), are generally set up ribbon DEM, for the convenience of calculation, at the same time can block is adopted to establish the DEM, but the DEM established between two paragraphs should have a certain degree of overlap, thus ensuring to plug are on the brink of the DEM elevation point, in this way, not because the point's position is different, the interpolation accuracy have obvious difference.

Study on the strata stress field caused by the construction of shallow driven method tunnel level in saturated soft clay PAN Linyou1, a, Yu Chuang1, b, LI Xiaobing1, c, Sun Fuxue1, d (College of Architecture and Civil Engineering , WenzhouUniversity, Wenzhou,325035,China) apanly@wzu.edu.cn, b3945735@qq.com, clixb@wzu.edu.cn, dsunfx@wzu.edu.cn Keywords: Saturated soft clay; shallow driven method; level channel construction; strata stress field Abstract: Using finite element software, Plaxis model and the measured data, the finite element analysis for the shallow tunnel of crossing the street tunnel in saturated soft clay shallow driven method, studied the influence of crossing the street tunnel and the change of stress field of the strata for the soil around different parameters (tunnel wall stiffness, construction load, soil disturbance).
But because the theory behind the actual engineering, the stratum stress field change study in the shallow tunneling method is less, especially stratum deformation rule study caused by shallow tunneling method construction in the saturated soft clay area is less.
The research result could be a good reference for the future similar engineering project.
Engineering and geology The underground street passage of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical College is built in saturated soft clay, where has two structural forms ( see Figure 1): excavation and pipe jacking tunnel form ( across the street underground passage, section 3.6 meters high, static level width 6 meters ).

The Studying Fabrication and Application of the Multifunctional Frozen Triaxial Test Apparatus Shiyin Zhang School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Anhui University of Science and Technology, Huainan Anhui 232001 shyzhang@aust.edu.cn Keywords: triaxial test apparatus; studying fabrication.
Frozen three-triaxial test is an important index of frozen soil mechanics properties, it can exactly simulate the mechanics properties in the initial stress state of rock-soil, that is an important basis for engineering design.
Because of different characteristics of construction, different test aim and different test condition, test instruments must meet different engineering conditions and objectives.
Engineering application Triaxial shear test of frozen soil Testing on the deep soil that come from a mine in Huaibei, the sample is a sandy clay whose diameter φ is 61.8mm and height is 125mm.
