With varying of mesh number of the stainless substrates, their Fe2O3 nanowire structures are systematically characterized.
The smaller wires had a significant effect on the smaller grain or seed size of the stainless steel, which had an impact on their diameter of the nanowires.

3.1 EL observation
First, defects are classified into five types as shown: A – over-soldered, B – cracks on cells, C – as-grown defects, D – grain boundary and dislocation dense area, E – cutting damage.

As the ODF representation method appeared primarily in an approximation, it was defined as the series of a reduced orientation distribution function (R-ODF) for crystalline grain clusters, which merely consists of the even-number item of ℓ and can be solved by the series expansion method (SEM) through pole figure data measured; furthermore, with the development of quantitative texture analysis, it finally evolved to the complete orientation distribution (C-ODF) through some specific mathematical treatments.

High-energy ball-milling in hexane medium was employed to prepare noble Zr-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) alloy of three different nominal compositions Zr47Be23Ni15Ti15, Zr50Be20Ni15Ti15 and Zr52Be18Ni15Ti15, numbers indicate at.%).

During the developing process, some CsCl dissolve in the water on CsCl film, forming small grains.
As time goes on, the adjacent smaller grains assemble together to form larger ones following the principle of lowest surface energy[12].
