The structure of compound diarylethene 1o was characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3, TMS): δ 2.04 (s, 3H, –CH3), 2.23 (s, 3H, –CH3), 3.76-4.16(m, 4H, –CH2), 5.82 (s, 1H, 1,3-dioxolane–H), 6.05 (s, 1H, pyrrole–H), 6.99 (s, 1H, thiothene–H), 7.47 (d, 2H, Ar–H, J = 8.0 Hz), 7.56 (d, 2H, Ar–H, J = 8.0 Hz).
