Field Determination of Surrounding Rock Strength under TBM Construction in Zhongtianshan Tunnel YuSuo Wang, ZhengQun Wu, MingNian Wang, Hao Chen Department of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China ,610031 wangysuo@163.com, 927126478 @qq.com, 19910622@163.com , 271860650@qq.com Keywords: TBM construction, rock strength, point load strength, uniaxial compressive strength Abstract.
Standard for Classification of Engineering Rock Masses ( GB50218—94) implemented on July 1, 1995, allows PLT to be used for determination of the rock strength. saturated uniaxial compressive strength(UCS) should take the measured value Under Clause 3.4.1 of this documents; and when it is impossible to acquire the measured value due to the limited condition, the equivalent value must be calculated from the standard PLT index (Is (50) ).
The tested average value of PLS index is 4.664MPa and the average value of UCS is 111.208 MPa. as a result, the relation between PLS and UCS is shown as (5) the conversion formula between PLT and UCS given under Clause 3.4.1 of Standard for Classification of Engineering Rock Masses ( GB50218—94) : (6) The document allows ±10% deviation.

Therefore, it has important engineering significance to comprehensively study the impact of different welding parameters on mechanical properties of resistance spot welded DP steel joints, find the optimal welding parameters, determine the most intuitive control factors of the mechanical properties, establish quality evaluation model.
But the researches are mostly carried out under DC conditions, which differ with the AC welding in actual engineering; and they mainly focused on the preloading, electric field and temperature field, intensive study on stress-strain in the spot welding process and welding deformation is relatively small.
Currently, the setting of engineering parameters of resistance spot and the determination of the size of nugget are generally realized by experiment, and the cycle of debugging is a little long.
The following analysis will focus on how to predict and control the nugget size and optimize the welding parameters to meet engineering needs in theory based on thermoelectric analysis.
