Abstract.
In order to determine the actual properties of cement-based composites, from each mixture the specimens were casted flowing: three cylinders (Φ100x200mm) for compressive performance with ASTM C 39[3], three prisms (100x100x400mm) for flexural performance as per ASTM C 1609.[4] To evaluate the direct tensile performance, dumbbell-shaped specimens were conducted according to the recommendation of the japan society of civil engineers (JSCE) E-51.[5] The tested specimen section was length of 100 mm and cross-section of 30 × 30 mm.
