Abstract.
However, there are some shortcomings to be further improved in the safety criterion: its calculation process is comparatively complex and values of certain parameters can try to be listed for the users to directly query; the safety criterion must be demonstrated by repeated practical engineering cases before its wide applications.

In summary, the following conclusions as well as some general remarks for engineering practice can be formulated:
- the analysis of the dynamic response of the shell with the assumption of uniform seismic excitation indicated that the concrete material of the shell remained elastic with no tensile damage,
- the tensile damage (cracking) in some thin parts of the tower appeared and the elastic stiffness of the concrete was degraded when the model of asynchronous kinematic excitation was considered.

Abstract: In order to explore the proper modified materials of the raw-soil building in mountain area, the raw-soil modified materials now being used commonly are analyzed effectively at first, and the natural reborn starch resource is thought which has a promising application prospect.
Soil modified by cement appeared a long time ago, and it got extensive use in engineering, but it can bring a great disadvantageous influence on the ecology of raw-soil building.
