In this paper, the Banqiao Codonopsis has been considered as the raw materials and GC/MS has been employed to analyze the types and the mass fraction of Codonopsis volatile oil, which has laid the foundation for further expanding the applications of Codonopsis in food areas, chemical areas and medical areas, etc.
