Abstract: This article discusses the ecological value of the pit house which lies in Shan xian county San Menxia in the respects of planning and site selection ,spatial organization ,material structure as well as energy utilization ,through the fact-investigation and interviews .The article starts from the aspect of construction technology ,and indicates the ecological strategy of the pit house ,hoping to provide some reference significance in the design of the modern living buildings .
These three Yuan zones locate in the relics of the Yang shao culture, such as the Ren ma village and Miao shang village and Yao tou.
As Yang shao culture period is a part of the maturity stage of human and culture.
