Introduction Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) is a promising process method that can be utilized to produce materials with ultra-fine size grains in bulk.
The number of initial meshes (four-node isoparametric plane strain elements) was 2400.
This number of elements was found to be sufficient to show local deformation of the workpiece by calculating with varying number of elements [17].
Moreover, the number of wave peaks and wave trough is the same as that of the fracture.

The number of weld lines is depending on the number of the feeders, so that the extrudates produced in this work show one and two weld lines, respectively, due to the modified die construction or no weld line in case of flat-face die extrusion.
On the one hand, the initial profile shape and on the other hand, the die design (number of longitudinal seam weld lines) have obviously significant influence on the flow properties in subsequent cold forming operations.
For the former the axi-symmetry of the extrusion is exploited whereas for the latter the motivation behind is the rather fine grain size distribution.
The number of feeder was also varied.

In the second step, a braiding process was developed that makes it possible to produce the theoretically determined grain.
This has the advantage of generating structures with a continuous main path without weakening the component by reducing the number of fibers in the main path or by open fiber ends of added fibers.
In the middle of the ridge, it must ramify itself due to the optimal power flow for the B-pillar – however, it must be ensured that the number of threads in the ridge before and after the branch point and the stability of the material before and after the branch point remains the same.
Because for the rest of the ridge to the C-pillar (Fig. 5 right arm) the same number was claimed, the 24 light grey threads need to be supplemented by 12 black ones coming from the B-pillar (total 36 threads).
Theoretically, all branches can have a different number of threads.

The spacing between compaction points The main ram spacing and line spacing should be based on the number of tamping times, pore water pressure, strengthening the physical properties of soil depth and other comprehensive.
For ease of excess pore water pressure dissipation, rammed spacing of the fine grained soil should not be too small [6].
The use of appropriate tamping distance before and after tamping effects can interact to achieve the point of ramming the effective reinforcement between the points and reduce the number of tamping point [7].
A single point of tamping rammer number is 10 in this project.
Test results and analysis Changes in horizontal direction The appropriate tamping distance can impact on before and after the effective reinforcement between the points and reduce the number of tamping points.

A large number of small bubbles produced from the whole body surface when samples immersing in the corrosion solution.
The size of ferrite grain was about 10-20 μ m, relatively uniform, but the band structure.
After corrosion 1h, there were corrosion pits in metallographic observation, but a relatively small number, clustered distributions.
After corrosion 3h, corrosion pits size increased, little change in the number.
After corrosion 6h, corrosion pits number slightly increased.

Large numbers of shear bands were produced in the process of deformation, which can be intertwined to form multiple shear bands.
The existence of in-suit β phase changed the direction of shear bands; both the number and the width of shear bands were increased, therefore, larger deformation power was needed; in-suit β phase also caused the movement direction of the shear bands have some deflection and the crack formed in the confluence of shear bands.
In the process of preparation of amorphous alloys, the smaller sample size, the larger cooling rate , the greater number of free volume per unit volume is gained, resulting in more nucleation of shear bands and then, during the deformation process, more shear bands are produced, which have important influence on the deformation.
The formation of large numbers of shear bands caused the deformation are no longer focused on individual shear band, on the other hand, β phase hindered the movement and extension of shear bands, caused the shear bands  intersected each other, increases the resistance of deformation.
Some newly phenomenon was discovered such as the image in Fig. 6d, the crystal grain slide along the direction of the arrow, this well explain the deformation of coordination previously mentioned .

The SSA of a mineral depends on the optical constant and grain size of each mineral, and an expression for computing mineral SSA has been given by Hapke[11]: (9) where Se is the Fresnel reflectivity for externally incident light, Si is the Fresnel reflectivity for internally incident light, n is the real part of refraction index of a mineral, and k is the imaginary part of refraction index of the mineral(Fig4); Θis the internal transmission coefficient of the particle without internal scatters, is the average distance traveled by transmitted rays during one traverse of a particle and a is the absorption coefficient of the mineral.

Introduction At present, the number of wasted tires has increased sharply along with the rapid growth of the vehicles ownership in China, so the problem of how to make good use of the huge number of waste tire rubber has become one of the most critical environmental problems demanding prompt solution.
Rubber particles produced by the first method is found edge tearing seriously, bad grain angularity and inhomogeneous shape.
