Study on Damage Patterns of Corroded High Performance Concrete Column Under Large Eccentric Loading Fuxue Sun1,a, Yunhui Zhu2,b 1College of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Wenzhou University, China, 325035; 2OUjing College, Wenzhou University, China, 325035 asunfuxue@163.com, bzhu-yunhui@163.com Key words: Accelerated corrosion, Damage pattern, Eccentric loading Abstract: Through accelerated method using external current and 5% Nacl solution, different corrosion results of rebars in columns were attained to study damage patterns of columns under large eccentric loading.
Results also indicated that engineers could guarantee reliability of eccentrically cpmpressive structures with changeable corrosion of rebars through enhancing compressive strength of concrete and effective area of rebars in tensile zone.
