The Feasibility experimental study about Bamboo reinforcement applied in concrete pavement Xiang Chen 1, a, Bowang Chen2,b and Ran He 2, c 1 Loudi Vocational and Technical College, the Department of art and design, Hunan, Loudi, 417000, 2 Hunan City University ,School of civil engineering, Hunan, Yiyang, 413000, China a962102828 @qq.com; btmcbw@163.com.; c122362920 @qq.com; Keywords: Concrete board, Bamboo reinforcement, Bamboo reinforcement plate, Material property Testing, Destructive tests.
The applications of Reinforced concrete in pavement engineering can obviously reduce the thickgess of pavement, improving the pavement performance, reduce the late repair and maintenance cost, but the cost is higher than ordinary concrete pavement, and China is in the stage of research, trial and promotion.
So we thought by doing some experiments to verify whether bamboo can replace steel reinforced in concrete, composed of bamboo reinforced concrete, used in pavement engineering.
