Because of regular structure and high crystallinity, nano coir cellulose whiskers could be applied in medical materials.
The aim of this paper was to provide a theoretical basis for the application of MNCW-CS/PVA composite film in medical materials. 1 Experimental 1.1 Materials The main material coconut shell, which was used to prepare cellulose whiskers, was purchased from an agricultural market in Haikou.
It shows that the distribution of CNCW in CS/PVA composites can inhibit the thermal decomposition of the materials[3].
