So, when old bridge strengthened design is in consideration, in one hand, technical measures should be taken to minimize the damage to the structure of old bridge as far as possible, and influencing of the said damage should be assessed to ensure the old bridge strengthening plan is in the range of being condonable and operable in order to guarantee safety; in the other hand, something such as the influencing structure damage, poor quality construction materials, binding ability of old and new materials, difference of characteristic of materials must taken into consideration of old bridge strengthening plan.
materials bond to old bridge strengthened method should be adopted.
(2) Materials for old bridge strengthening Fiber composite materials belongs to new materials, at present, fiber composite materials used in old bridge strengthening includes carbon fiber, kevlar fiber and glass-fiber composite.
In view of performance of materials, carbon fiber is made from polyacrylonitrile or mesophase pitch in high temperature, which stress-strain are totally linear elastic without any yield point and plastic zone.
Discussion of design and construction on extraneous prestressed strengthening technique for bridge, Journal of Southeast University (Natural Science Edition), 2002, Vol.32, No.5:771~774.

Materials and Method
Materials
Waste Paper Sludge Ash (WPSA), sand, coarse RCA, water, superplasticiser and two (2) solutions of activators which are sodium silicate (Na2SiO3), and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution were used in this study.
However, review of literature indicated that the activation of fly ash or other similar materials can be modeled in two ways.

The extraction/insertion reaction with this material was investigation by X-ray, saturation capacity of exchange, and Kd measurement.
In this paper, doping magnesium manganese titanium oxides were prepared using MgSO4, MnSO4 and Ti(SO4)2, whose composition and structure are different from those in literature[3-4], The experimental result have proved that the inorganic material has better selectivity and higher capacity of exchange for Li+ in the solution removed Li+ previously.

In the expansive soil steep slope treatment, research and generalize FRP materials anchor bolt instead of steel anchor bolt.
Although research on FPR reinforcement material in the developed countries started early, especially since 1996 for FPR reinforcement materials used in highway, bridge as part of the composite materials, FPR bolt was more used in coal mine roadway supporting the stability of the tunnel ,and used in the slope supporting less.
In addition, the Japanese compiled the first FPR design and construction specification, the specification is limited to FPR sheet, plate and reinforcement materials.
