Injectable materials are gaining more and more attention in the orthopedic community.
Although well known in the materials science community the FIB technique to produce TEM-samples of implants in contact with tissue has not been explored.
The area of interface analysis between tissue and material is also a multidisciplinary research area where both biology and materials science researcher must collaborate for optimal understanding.
