Abstract: In order to improve the biological oxidation and phosphorous removal in BAF, compound inoculation method was introduced to start two stage biological filters by alternative aeration.
Therefore, this research used composite biofilm formation method to start-up reactor in order to provide reference for engineering design and operation under similar conditions.

Abstract: The present standards for designing of ultra-long pile exist the contradiction between theory and practice; By combining the projects and finite element calculation and analyzing the characteristics of force and deformation, we can get the conclusion that there is asynchronous nature between the side resistance and the tip resistance in different soil layers.
Since there is the contradiction between theory and practice in the existing norms of the designing methods of long pile, carrying out study about long pile bearing behavior and proposing a reasonable designing method are not only the needs of the development of the theory but also an urgent requirement in engineering The analysis of the pile on the experimental results The static load tests are conducted on a 17-story building in Cangzhou,the bored pile (floating pile)is made use of the designing basis in which the pile diameter is 650mm,the length of the pile is 43.0m (pile 1) or 42.9m (pile 2), and the single pile ultimate bearing capacity is 4800KN.
