Rf, friction ratio; u2, pore pressure A primary purpose of the CPT is to identify the soil layer boundaries and determine soil type in terms of the grain size.
Therefore the Takesue et al. method ranks number one according to this criterion and is given R1=1 (R1 is the rank based on this criterion).
Based on the results of this analysis, the Eslami and Fellenius (1997) and Takesue et al. (1998) methods have rank number one.
The De Ruiter and Beringen (1979) method ranks number three while the Bustamante and Gianeselli (LCPC) (1982) method ranks number four.
The Clisby method showed the lowest performance among all methods and therefore it ranks number six.

Ch'ng Guan Bee3 1Guizhou Science Research and Design Institute of CSCES, China 2Tsinghua University, China 3Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College, Malaysia axudingding1980@163.com Keywords: Ultrahigh Pumping; C80 HS & HP Concrete; Pumpability Abstract: The concrete technology has seen great improvement with the construction of large numbers of ultrahigh buildings at a height of more than 400 meters worldwide.
Introduction With the rapid development of Chinese economy, a large number of high and ultra-high landmark buildings have sprung up in various parts of our country.
In order to preferably tackle the problem of pumpability, the design of mix proportion in relation to the C80 concrete utilized in this project, apart from the consideration of conventional parameters as the rational adoption of total amount of binding materials and sand coarse aggregate ratio, has attached more attention on the following control measures. 2.2.1 The control of grain composition of admixture The slag powder and silica fume are selected and used as the admixture in accordance with the features and supply of local materials.
Therefore, the Zoomlion selects and uses a kind of pipeline with a diameter of 125mm. 4.4 The arrangement of pumping pipeline The arrangement of pipeline shall be in accordance with the pouring scheme of concrete, and the length of pipeline should be shortened, with less number of elbow pipe and flexible pipe used.

A number of Nb-rich M(C,N) carbonitrides with a mean size of 20 nm precipitated on dislocations during low temperature tempering.
TMLS consists of prior austenite grains (PAG), packets, blocks and dislocation laths [1, 11] with thickness of about 200 nm.

However, in some cases, there is necessary to realize interior thermal insulation systems, what brings number of possible problems.
Due to the supercritical evaporation technology has material excellent thermal insulation performance (its porosity normally exceeds 90%) because of its nano-porous structure with an average diameter in the range from 20 to 40 nm, and very small solid grain size approximately 2 – 5 nm [2].

The test is finished if the rotation number of the test comes to 5000 revolutions or the abrasive depth of the specimen is over 1.5 mm, which these data are automatically recorded by meters.
With the increase in the cycle number, the difference in the ability of these materials to protect reinforcing steel from corrosion becomes bigger.
According to Chinese test method GB/T16925-1997, the abrasion depth of MPB mortar and concrete was 0.32 mm and 0.28 mm respectively after the rotation number of 5000.
Dead burnt MgO powder used here contains many coarse grains (a specific surface of <2000 cm2/g) and they possess very high abrasion resistance.
A lot of unhydrated MgO grains in the hardened MPB have a function of fine wearable aggregates, so the MPB materials have high abrasion resistance. 4.6 Strength loss It seems that there is one shortcoming for MPB materials stored in water for a long time [5].

Define three normalized parameters as , , (4) where d0 is the characteristic length of crystalline grains (or micro-structures).
Three basic parameters s*, d* and μ* should vary with the cyclic number N or crack length a.
With the increment of time t or the cyclic number N, the restraining effect decreases and the material damage increases.
Fig. 5 Crack length a versus cycle number N curves for different a0: smax=210 MPa, sm=137 MPa, Case B.
Fig. 6 Crack length a versus cycle number N curves for Case A, B and C: smax=140 MPa, sm=69 MPa, a0=6 μm. 6.

They regularly increase with an increase in the REEs’ numbers in the series Ce–Eu, then decrease sharply for Gd, and they increase again in the series Gd–Yb.
The Tcr values naturally decrease with increasing REE atomic numbers as expected (Table 1).
The dependence of critical decomposition temperatures Tcr on the REE atomic numbers (for x = 0.50) is also shown (curve e, Fig. 1).
It is shown that the increase in the REE number results in the decrease of the calculated mixing energies and critical decomposition temperatures of Sc1–xLnxVO4 solid solutions. 3.

This gradually downgraded to below 60 % of transmission most probably due to the grain size that becomes bigger.
This might due to the excessive number of particles contains in the sample which produce good transmittance.
