It is found in the present study that, cast aged A356 materials possess higher wear resistance as compared to forge aged materials.
However, the forge aged materials show a different behavior.
Cast aged A356 material possesses higher wear resistance as compared to forge aged materials.
Forging improves both strength and ductility of the materials.

Abstract.
When the weight ratio of refractory clay, aluminium titanate and high alumina grog is 60/10/30, themal shock resistance of sample is excellent, The XRD and SEM analysis results indicated that the mechanical and thermal proprieties are relative to the microstructure and crystal phases of the composite materials.
Experimental Raw Materials.
Three raw materials aforementioned were separately blended as Table 1 for 30min by slurry machine.

Introduction
Thorough understanding of the relation between microstructural features and mechanical properties
becomes a key competence in material science.
In this framework, materials symmetries can be exploited.
This methodology can easily be extended to other hcp materials.
