The force analysis of PC rigid frame curved bridges with long span Mei-liang Yanga, Fang Xub , Chuan-xi Lic School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Changsha University of Science and Technology,Changsha,China,410004 ayangmeiliang@163.coml, b314801948@163.com, clichuanxi2@163.com, Keywords: PC,the rigid frame curved bridge ,radius of curvature, finite element model, force analysis Abstract.
Finite element analysis By using finite element analysis software Midas/civil, the thesis builds three-dimensional simulation model of right piece bridge.
Conclusion For this bridge as engineering background, through modeling a dimensional finite element model by Midas/civil, the thesis analyses the long-span continuous rigid frame bridge force status under different radius of curvature, analysis results indicate: i) As the continuous rigid frame curved bridges exist greater torque, the box girder generates lateral deformation, and torque should be considered in the design.
