The formation of aluminum oxide was carried out through a number of phase transition phases, one of which involves the formation of aluminium hydroxyl oxide AlO(OH).
The transformation of amorphous precursors fibers to metastable γ-Al2O3 and stable α-Al2O3 phase is clearly evident from different roughness of the surface of fibers from smooth surface of precursors (Fig. 3b) up to porous structure of α-Al2O3 grains (Fig. 3d).The fine alumina fibers were relatively fragile with the low values of handing strength.

Experimental determinations
Based on technological and economic considerations the study was completed by physical
modelling, allowing a large number of measurements [2].
The experimental determinations were carried out on a model consisting of water and pharmaceutical calcium carbonate of graining 10-50 µm.
This can be explained only by the narrowing and displacement of the layer of clogged (active) cells towards the upper surface of the filter, that is by concentrating the retained inclusions in a smaller number of cells closer to the upper surface of the filter.

In this study the grain size and other line broadening factors besides plastic work are taken to be insignificant across the sample and FWHM is considered to be a good indicator of plastic work.
