Also, the calculation of the three-dimensional texture parameters indicate slightly higher values for Sa (2.7 nm) and Sdr (0.613%), which reflect that plasma treatment, beside generating new chemical groups and modification of the morphological structures, intensifies roughness, a phenomenon which remains constant in time.

When the dosage is 50mg/L, the SVI is slightly low but still in the normal range, possible reasons: (1) the ferric iron addition high, iron ion itself was inorganic ions, increased sedimentation sludge; (2) the iron ion was increased with the concentration of sludge and the iron ions form a colloidal iron hydroxide, providing more of the sludge flocs compact structure for the microbial attachment.
