Regulated DC Id-Vds characteristics clearly showing a linear region, a saturation region and a pinch-off state were obtained for the contact materials such as Ti and Ni.

Typical DC Id−Vds characteristics of MESFETs with Ti contacts Journal Title and Volume Number (to be inserted by the publisher) 3 respectively to be Vp = 6.7 V and gm = 18.9 mS/mm for Ti and Vp = 8.3 V and gm = 20.4 mS/mm for Ni.
